LEADING NEW JERSEY ELDER LAW ATTORNEYS JOIN FORCES TO FORM THE STATE'S LARGEST ELDER LAW BOUTIQUE

Firm is helmed by two prominent certified Central Jersey elder law attorneys

Dateline: HAMILTON, NJ – February 1, 2022 -  — Attorneys Carl Archer and Robert “Bob” Brogan have announced the merger of their respective law firms to form Archer Brogan, the largest elder law boutique in New Jersey, effective immediately. The firm's seven attorneys and over twenty team members will continue the extraordinary level of service and expertise that they have provided to their communities over the last two decades. Archer Brogan will continue to operate from the previous firms' five locations in Hamilton, Jamesburg, Bridgewater, Mount Laurel, and Brick, New Jersey, serving clients throughout the entire State of New Jersey.

Carl Archer, managing partner of Archer Law Office, LLC, will become the managing partner of the new entity. “The merger is an exciting and unique opportunity in the New Jersey area, and will create a synergy between our current Medicaid and crisis planning operation and Bob's nationally-recognized reputation as a tax, estate planning, and special needs planning expert.  This merger brings with it an even more satisfying opportunity to do what we love.  Both firms singly have had the mission of advocating for our aging population; together, we are an even stronger force to do that. ”

Bob Brogan, managing partner of Brogan Law Group, will become senior partner in the new entity. “I am excited to work with Carl on a new venture that will leverage his firm's expansive geographic reach and its expertise in crisis and Medicaid planning, to work with my decades of experience in special needs planning. Carl and I share a common vision of the future of elder law in New Jersey and we look forward to serving a greater community of clients in New Jersey for years to come. My staff is excited to join forces with Carl's team to enhance not only the substantive areas of practice that are a strength for us, but also their current technology and law firm management infrastructure.”

Carl Archer is certified as an elder law attorney by the ABA-accredited National Elder Law Foundation He serves as the current Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Elder and Disability Law Section, and is a past Chair of the New Jersey chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Advocates for Aging Well.  He served on Governor Christie's New Jersey Task Force on Abuse of Persons Who Are Elderly or     Disabled.

Bob Brogan is certified as an elder law attorney by the ABA-accredited National Elder Law Foundation. He is a past Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Elder and Disability Law Section, of the New Jersey chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and of the Ocean County Bar Association's Elder Law Section. He is a member of the invitation-only Special Needs Alliance, and a member of the Counsel of Advanced Practitioners of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He earned an LLM Degree in taxation from Villanova University.

The locations, resources, and personnel of both firms will remain with the new entity indefinitely, as the combined newly formed firm anticipates substantial growth into 2022.
