This seminar addresses the ethical standards by which Social Workers and other professionals can appropriately assist residents and their family members with decision –making during the difficult, yet life-affirming, end of life journey.
Learn the New Jersey state regulations of the Advance Directive Healthcare Act and the most current information regarding advanced directives in the state. Master principles in advanced directive planning: Beneficence, Justice, Fidelity. Improve discharge planning expertise in the ethical, legal and clinical areas of the regulatory climate for self-determination in long term care facilities, including skilled nursing and assisted living residences.
Your presenter, Carl Archer, Esq. is the principal of Archer Brogan, an elder law boutique with locations in Hamilton, Monroe, and Marlton, New Jersey.
